Privacy Policy — Helix Smash
A casual arcade game with no account. Your best score stays on your device, and any ads will come from the platform that hosts the game.
1.The short version
Helix Smash is a casual arcade game. You do not need an account, and the game itself does not ask you for personal details. Your best score is stored on your own device so the game can show it to you. The next version is being prepared to show optional rewarded video ads supplied by the platform that hosts the game; section 5 explains what that involves.
2.What is stored on your device
| Data | Why | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Best score | Show your personal record on the game-over screen | Local storage on your device |
| Current run state | Keep the round running while you play | Memory / session only |
If local storage is unavailable or you clear it, your best score resets. The game stays playable. We do not run a cloud leaderboard, cloud save or user profile for this game. This local data stays in the game's storage on your device.
3.What the game itself does not collect
This build does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, or government identifiers. It contains no sign-in, no chat and no user-generated content. This section describes the game's own code; sections 4 and 5 cover the platform services around it.
4.The app that hosts the game
Helix Smash runs inside partner applications on the OpenPaaS platform. Those applications, the platform and your device may process technical data (for example device model, operating system, IP address, crash diagnostics or platform account identifiers) under their privacy policies. That processing is outside this game's code. The platform also supplies the advertising service described in section 5. Please review the policy of the app you play in.
5.Advertising
Helix Smash is being prepared to show optional rewarded video ads supplied by the OpenPaaS platform (SUD). A rewarded video is a short ad that a player can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game benefit, such as continuing a run. The reward stays inside the game and has no cash value. The ad-enabled version has not been released yet.
The ads will be delivered by the platform's advertising service, not by code we write into the game. To provide and measure an ad, that service and the advertising partners it works with may process technical data about your device and connection (for example device model, operating system and IP address) and data about the ad itself (for example whether it loaded, was watched to the end or was closed). The platform may also use identifiers for ad delivery and measurement; its policy describes which ones. The platform and its ad partners will process that data under the platform's privacy policy and the privacy policy of the app you play in.
We are still confirming the final partner list and retention details for the ad-enabled version. Before that version is released, this page will name the partners involved and describe what they process. Your best score will still be kept only on your device, as described in section 2.
6.Children
The game is designed for a general audience and is recommended for ages 8 and up. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the game has no account and no data-entry form, there is no in-game channel for a child to send us personal information. The advertising service described in section 5 will be run by the platform. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information to our contact address can write to support@lagoslifegame.world and we will review and delete it where we control it.
7.Retention
Your best score stays on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the host app. Support email we receive is kept only as long as needed to answer it and to meet legal obligations, then deleted or minimised. Data processed by the platform's advertising service will be retained under the platform's policy.
8.Your choices
- Clear the host app's data (or the browser's site data) to reset your best score.
- Use your device or host-app privacy settings for anything the host controls.
- Check the host app's privacy settings for choices about platform advertising.
- Write to support@lagoslifegame.world with questions or requests about information we control.
9.Changes
We will update this policy when the game's data practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be reflected here before or when the affected version is released.
